This Orion180 Quote & Service SMS Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC (“Orion180,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our Orion180 Quote & Service SMS text messaging program. This Policy supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to information collected through or in connection with SMS communications.

By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively consenting to receive SMS messages from us, you acknowledge this Policy.

This Policy controls for SMS-related mobile information. To the extent any provision in our general Privacy Policy regarding the sharing of telephone numbers, vendor or partner contact, marketing, advertising, or Do Not Call exceptions is inconsistent with this Policy as applied to mobile information collected for SMS purposes, this SMS Privacy Policy governs.

2. Information We Collect

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from us, we collect:

Your mobile telephone number
The date, time, and content of messages sent and received
Your opt-in and opt-out records, including the method and timestamp of consent
Any information you voluntarily provide in response to our messages, such as details about an insurance inquiry, requested documents, payment status, or policy servicing matter
Device, carrier, and delivery information provided automatically by your wireless carrier or our SMS platform provider

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through our SMS program to:

Follow up on documents, forms, or information needed to complete your quote or service your policy
Send payment-related communications, such as payment reminders or confirmations, in connection with your policy

4. Sharing of Your Mobile Information

Orion180 will not share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties, partner agents (“Producers”), affiliates, or strategic partners for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS messages are sent only by or on behalf of Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC.

Your mobile information is handled as follows:

SMS opt-in consent is not shared for marketing. Your consent to receive SMS messages, including records of that consent, remains with Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC and its SMS platform providers solely as necessary to operate the messaging program. No third party, Producer, affiliate, or strategic partner may use your SMS opt-in data or consent for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service fulfillment. Your mobile phone number may be accessed or used by Orion180’s wholly owned affiliates (Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC; Orion180 Insurance Company; Orion180 Select Insurance Company; Orion180 Technologies, LLC; and Orion180 Financial Services, LLC) only as related Orion180 entities assisting with your requested insurance inquiry, quote, or policy servicing matter. It is not shared Producers or any other third party for marketing or promotional purposes, and affiliates may not use it for independent marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS platform and technology providers. Third-party service providers that operate our messaging infrastructure may process your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent solely to deliver and administer our SMS messages. These providers are contractually prohibited from using this information for their own purposes or for marketing or promotional purposes.
Regulatory and legal authorities. We may disclose information as required by applicable law, insurance regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not sell your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, SMS consent, or SMS communication data to anyone.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain SMS communication records in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and business recordkeeping requirements. Records may be retained longer where required by law, regulation, or pending legal matter.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the message STOP, we will send you an SMS message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again, except where otherwise required or permitted by law.
