Orion180 Quote & Service SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program Description

Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates an SMS messaging program through which licensed agents communicate with individuals who have submitted an insurance quote inquiry or are existing Orion180 policyholders. Messages are one-to-one and conversational in nature, sent only in connection with:

  • Your active insurance quote inquiry, including requests for information needed to complete your quote
  • Document and form follow-ups related to your quote or policy
  • Payment-related communications, such as payment reminders or confirmations

We do not send bulk, automated, or unsolicited SMS messages through this program.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only in connection with an active insurance quote, document request, or payment matter. We will not contact you via SMS after your inquiry has been resolved or after you have opted out.

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our inquiry form, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC related to your insurance quote, documents, and payment communications. Consent provided here applies only to this conversational SMS program and does not enroll you in any other Orion180 SMS program. SMS messages are sent only by Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC; no third party, partner agent, or affiliate will send you SMS messages under this program.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of obtaining an insurance quote or purchasing any insurance product.

4. Carriers and Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC does not charge for SMS messages, but your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

SMS service is available on most major U.S. carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas.

5. Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will process your request promptly and send a confirmation message, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from us through this program. If you want to rejoin, simply opt in as you did the first time.

Opting out of SMS does not affect any other communication methods you may have authorized (e.g., email, phone).

7. Mobile Information and Sharing

Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC will not share your mobile information (your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent) with third parties, partner agents (“Producers”), or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS messages are sent only by Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC.

Your mobile phone number may be shared only among Orion180’s wholly owned affiliates, solely to fulfill and service your insurance inquiry or policy, and not for any marketing or promotional purpose. It is not shared with Producers or any other third party.

Any non-SMS communications you receive about your inquiry (for example, a phone call or email from a licensed agent) are governed by the consent you provide separately on our quote inquiry form and are not part of this SMS program. To the extent our general Privacy Policy describes sharing telephone numbers with vendors or Producers, or describes a Do Not Call exception, that sharing does not apply to your mobile information or SMS opt-in consent collected through this SMS program.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our SMS program to:

  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any person
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to terminate SMS access for any individual who violates these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SMS messages are provided “as is.” We make no warranties regarding delivery timing, availability, or freedom from errors. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is not an appropriate channel for urgent matters — please call us directly for time-sensitive issues.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on our SMS program, including delays, non-delivery, or misdirected messages caused by your carrier or third-party systems.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at orion180.com/sms-terms. Continued use of our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Scope of This Program

These Terms apply solely to the conversational SMS program through which licensed Orion180 agents communicate with individuals regarding insurance quote inquiries, policy documents, and payment-related matters. They do not govern any other SMS programs operated by Orion180 Insurance Services, LLC, which are subject to their own separate terms and consent. Consent provided under these Terms does not authorize, and will not be used for, enrollment in any other SMS program.

14. Relationship to General Terms

These SMS Terms & Conditions supplement and are incorporated into Orion180’s general terms and our general Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between these SMS Terms and our general terms or Privacy Policy as applied to SMS communications and mobile information, these SMS Terms shall control.
